A 60 to 70m motor yacht the Seychelles in the 2026 May through October southeast-trade window runs $480,000 to $740,000 per week plus 28 to 32 percent APA, takes 12 to 14 guests across 7 to 9 cabins, and carries 18 to 24 crew. The bracket runs two distinct products that share the Port Victoria Mahe embarkation base: the Inner Islands granitic-island week across Mahe, Praslin, La Digue, Curieuse, and Cousine, and the Outer Islands expedition to Aldabra Atoll, the Amirantes, and the Cosmoledo group 600 to 800 nautical miles southwest. The bracket carries no marina alongside at Mahe at the LOA. Eden Island Marina caps structurally inside 50m, and the 60 to 70m fleet runs the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage off Port Victoria with tender access into Eden Island and Victoria. Roughly 4 to 7 yachts at the LOA touch the basin across a year on the structurally thin Indian Ocean upper-bracket pool.

Why the Seychelles works as an at-anchor and lagoon-mooring product at the bracket

The basin carries no commercial superyacht marina at any of the 115 granitic and coralline islands. The bracket runs the structural at-anchor across the Mahe Plateau granitic anchorages (Anse Lazio at Praslin, Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Marron at La Digue, the Curieuse and Cousine marine reserves, the Aride and Cousin protected reserves) and on the open-water transit across the wider basin. The Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage off Port Victoria runs the structural embarkation hold with tender shuttle into the Eden Island Marina pontoon for guest transfer. The Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority issues the cruising permit through the central agent on the 60 to 90 day lead-time minimum, and the protected-area permits at Aldabra (through the Seychelles Islands Foundation) and the inner marine national parks run on separate allocation. The Mahe SEZ international airport on the southeast coast at 12 kilometres from the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage runs the inbound logistics with 35 minutes ground time on the Eden Island shuttle.

Inner Islands and Outer Islands daily structure

The Inner Islands week runs Port Victoria embarkation, two nights at Praslin on the Anse Lazio and Cote d'Or anchorages with the Lemuria and Constance Ephelia shore-tender for the resort-table dinner, two nights at La Digue on the Anse Source d'Argent daylight call and the Anse Severe overnight, one night at Curieuse for the giant-tortoise reserve daylight programme, one night at Cousine and Aride on the protected-reserve daylight call, and the final night on the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage for the Port Victoria disembark. The Amirantes 10 to 14 night extension routes the southwest overnight transit to Desroches, Poivre, and Alphonse on the Alphonse Island Lodge shore-anchor. The Aldabra Outer Islands 14 to 21 night expedition routes the southwest open-ocean passage (36 to 48 hours each way) to the Aldabra Atoll UNESCO site, the Cosmoledo group, and the Astove daylight calls under the Seychelles Islands Foundation permit framework. The basin runs effectively single-rotation at the bracket: November through April brings the northwest monsoon and the Inner Islands fleet repositions east to the Maldives.

Weekly rate map for 2026

Rates below are firm peak pricing (May through October 2026 southeast-trade window) before APA at 28 to 32 percent and gratuity at 10 to 15 percent on the Indian Ocean framework. Seychelles cruising-permit fees, the Mahe and Praslin harbour dues, the Inner Islands marine-park entry permits (Curieuse, Cousin, Aride), the SIF Aldabra permit on the Outer Islands extension, and the structural at-anchor and lagoon-mooring tender consumption run through the APA.

LOA bracket Motor yacht (low to high) Sailing yacht (low to high)
60 to 63m $480K to $560K per week $390K to $460K per week
63 to 67m $555K to $645K per week $450K to $530K per week
67 to 70m $640K to $740K per week $520K to $605K per week

The NYE and the European New-Year-on-the-equator cluster runs a 25 to 40 percent premium on the Inner Islands base, with the bracket inventory tight 10 to 14 months out on the basin's structurally thin pool. The Aldabra Outer Islands expedition window from late November to early April runs a separate 25 to 40 percent premium plus the expedition supplement covering passage fuel, SIF permits, and the 14-night minimum charter requirement. Easter and the July to August central peak hold the headline Inner Islands rate. For wider context see 60-70m Maldives, 60-70m French Polynesia, 60-70m Caribbean, and the lower-LOA comparison at 50-60m Seychelles.

What you actually get in this bracket

Cabins. Seven to nine. Bridge-deck owner suite plus on-deck VIP plus five to seven main and lower-deck doubles on the 12 to 14 guest envelope. The Inner Islands run the multi-family fortnight on the 8-cabin layout; the Aldabra expedition runs the serious-dive friend-group week on the 7-cabin lean.

Crew. Eighteen to twenty-four. The Seychelles captain bench rewards prior Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority cruising-permit coordination, prior SIF Aldabra permit on the Outer Islands expedition, prior Inner Islands granitic-anchorage tenure across the Anse Lazio swell window, prior Mahe Plateau open-water transit hours, and prior MYBA Indian Ocean addendum coordination on contract. The chief stew bench with prior Constance Lemuria Praslin, Constance Ephelia Mahe, Six Senses Zil Pasyon Felicite, and Four Seasons Desroches shore-coordination is the client-facing load.

Tenders. Primary 14 to 16m fast tender plus a 12m beach-landing shallow-draft tender for the granitic-boulder anchorages plus a chase boat plus a dedicated dive tender (8 to 10m support boat with rack and compressor) for the reef programme. The Aldabra expedition runs the dive tender hard on the multi-day dive support and rewards the dedicated rebreather capability.

At-anchor stabilizers. Load-bearing. The southeast trade swell on the Praslin and La Digue granitic-boulder anchorages at force 4 to 5 through July and August is the structural daily comfort variable. The 2020-and-newer zero-speed stabilizer hulls are the brief.

Beach club. Required at the bracket. The Inner Islands swim programme runs the open beach club through the daylight window at every anchorage.

Helipad. Cat A workable at the upper end. The Seychelles domestic-flight network through Air Seychelles and the Zil Air inter-island helicopter cover most guest movement, but the on-board Cat A converts the SEZ guest pickup and the SEZ to Praslin transfer to a single rotary leg.

Expedition kit. For the Aldabra programme the bracket runs the watermaker redundancy, the confirmed 1,500-nautical-mile open-water range with margin, dedicated rebreather dive support, Iridium satellite redundancy, and Outer Islands medical-evacuation framework. The Aldabra programme is the bracket's most kit-dependent Indian Ocean product. Permit lead time runs 4 to 6 months on the SIF allocation.

Trip shape that fits the bracket

The 7-night Inner Islands programme runs Port Victoria embarkation through the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage, two nights at Praslin (Anse Lazio and Cote d'Or), two nights at La Digue (Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Severe), one night at Curieuse for the giant-tortoise reserve daylight, one night at Cousine on the protected-reserve framework, and the final night on the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage for the Port Victoria disembark. The 10-night Inner Islands plus Amirantes routes the southwest overnight transit to Desroches and Poivre on the Alphonse Island Lodge shore-anchor reference. The 14 to 21 night Aldabra Outer Islands expedition routes the southwest open-ocean passage to the Aldabra Atoll under the SIF permit, the Cosmoledo group on the day-anchor framework, and the Astove daylight call. See Charter Seychelles, Charter Maldives, and How to plan an Indian Ocean charter for routing detail.

What the bracket does not do well in the Seychelles

The marina-side weekly plan. Eden Island Marina structurally caps inside 50m at the alongside framework and the 60 to 70m bracket runs the entirely at-anchor and lagoon-mooring product at Port Victoria. We would pass on the marina-side plan and route the booking with the Seychelles Yacht Club anchorage as the structural Mahe embarkation hold.

The Aldabra-only inside-week attempt. The Aldabra Outer Islands expedition needs the 14-night minimum at the bracket because the open-water passage consumes 3 to 4 days of the programme each way. Inside-week attempts at Aldabra are not viable and we would pass on the broker representation that the Outer Islands run on a 7-night base.

The November through April Inner Islands plan outside the Aldabra-targeted dates. The northwest monsoon from November through April brings increased rain and the structural fleet exodus east to the Maldives, with the Inner Islands running a thinner inventory pool and reduced visibility at the granitic-coast reef. The Aldabra expedition window inside this period (calmest passage conditions December to April) runs the structural Outer Islands product, but the wider Inner Islands plan reads short.

What to book

For two couples plus children, 7-night Inner Islands in late June at the southeast-trade open with Praslin and La Digue as the structural two-night legs: a 63 to 65m motor yacht, 8 cabins, Cat A helipad, primary plus secondary tender plus chase plus dive tender, captain on the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority permit coordination, Inner Islands granitic-anchorage tenure, and Mahe Plateau open-water transit hours, chief stew bench with prior Constance Lemuria and Six Senses Zil Pasyon shore-coordination. Budget $590,000 per week plus APA at 30 percent, all-in roughly $785,000 including marine-park permits. Lead time 9 to 12 months for the central peak.
