A 50 to 60m motor yacht running the Saronic Gulf in the 2026 peak window (mid-June to early September) carries a weekly rate of $355,000 to $570,000 per week plus 27 to 29 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests on the 6-cabin standard, and runs 14 to 17 crew. The Saronic Gulf is the protected sea south of Athens with the chain of Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Spetses, and Methana, and the bracket runs Flisvos marina (4 kilometres south of central Athens at Palaio Faliro) or the supplementary Piraeus Marina Zeas on the eastern face of the Piraeus peninsula on prior arrangement at the harbour master. Athens international airport (ATH) sits 25 kilometres east of Flisvos and runs daily-direct global traffic on the structural Greek embarkation. Roughly 18 to 25 yachts in this LOA work the Saronic Gulf and the wider Athens embarkation through a typical peak week, with the structural fleet treating the Saronic as a shoulder-week destination or the embarkation leg of the wider Cycladic-led week.
Why the bracket runs the Saronic Gulf
The Flisvos marina. Flisvos at Palaio Faliro on the central Athens coast handles the 60m line on stern-to at the eastern and western quays on prior arrangement at the marina office, with the supplementary 80m line for the upper-end shoulder fleet. The Flisvos shore programme runs limited at the marina but the captain holds the bench on the Athens shore transfer (the Acropolis, the Plaka district, the National Archaeological Museum, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation cultural centre 800 metres east) on the 25-minute road transfer and the chief stew's prior bench on the Athens restaurant chain (Spondi, Hytra at the SNFCC, Varoulko Seaside on the Piraeus face) is the structural broker-side question at inquiry.
The Piraeus Marina Zeas. Marina Zeas on the eastern face of the Piraeus peninsula handles the alternate Athens embarkation with the 55m line at the southern quay on prior arrangement, with the supplementary inside berths reserved for the central-agent shoulder fleet. The Zeas overnight runs the structural alternative to Flisvos when the marina master holds Flisvos at capacity through the August peak. The Piraeus shore programme (the Mikrolimano harbour bowl, the Pireas waterfront restaurants, the eastern Kastella hilltop) runs the supplementary daylight brief on the local-tender shuttle.
The Hydra and Spetses overnights. Hydra at 35 nautical miles south of Flisvos runs the structural shoulder-week overnight at the bracket on the inner-harbour Mandraki anchor (the 50m-and-up berths at the inner port are structurally limited and the bracket holds the Mandraki southern bay anchor on the leeward face). The Hydra shore programme (the car-free old-town brief, Sunset at the western face, Omilos on the harbourside, the Hydrama cultural centre) runs the structural dressed-evening shore programme and the chief stew's prior reservation desk reads through the brief. Spetses at 50 nautical miles south of Flisvos runs the supplementary southern overnight on the Old Harbour and the Dapia main-quay stern-to with the Poseidonion Grand Hotel shore brief.
The Aegina and Poros day-calls. Aegina at 12 nautical miles southwest of Piraeus runs the structural day-call with the temple of Aphaia daytime tour and the Perdika village harbour anchor. Poros at 28 nautical miles south runs the supplementary inner-channel daylight on the Methana strait and the Russian Bay anchor. The bracket holds the daylight day-calls on the inter-night daytime window.
What the bracket includes in this bracket in the Saronic Gulf
Cabins. Six standard. The 6-cabin shoulder-week or embarkation week reads through the Saronic as the structural three to five-night protected-water programme.
Crew. Fourteen to seventeen. Greek-flag charter list dominates the Saronic fleet and the captain plus chief stew hold the Greek-language operational fluency on the Flisvos marina master and the Piraeus Marina Zeas office. The chief stew's prior bench on the Athens restaurant chain plus the Hydra Sunset and Spetses Poseidonion reservation desk is the structural broker-side question at inquiry.
Tenders. Primary 10 to 12m for the Hydra Mandraki shuttle and the Spetses Old Harbour transfer, secondary 7 to 8m for the at-anchor lunch programme at the Aegina Perdika and the Russian Bay Poros, plus a chase boat for the daytime water-sports brief. The Saronic tender programme runs through the week with the structural inter-island calm-water transit.
At-anchor stabilizers. Required. The Hydra Mandraki southern bay overnight and the Spetses Dapia stern-to run the at-anchor stabilizers through the daytime calm-water window and the supplementary Russian Bay overnight runs the at-anchor load. The 2018-and-newer hulls run the structural zero-speed product.
Beach club. Required in the Saronic. The Spetses Zogeria western-bay anchor, the Hydra Bisti southern-bay, the Aegina Perdika harbour, and the Poros Russian Bay run the beach club open through the swim brief and the bracket runs the fold-out terraces hard through the daylight window.
Helipad. Cat A useful at the upper end. The Athens embarkation runs the structural fixed-wing transit and the helipad runs the supplementary option for the inter-island Hydra and Spetses rotation on the 12-minute helicopter leg or the day-return to Athens for the Acropolis private-guide brief.
Trip shape that fits the bracket
The Saronic Gulf runs the structural shoulder-week or short-charter programme. The 4 to 5-night Saronic-only runs Flisvos one night with the Athens dressed-evening shore brief, day-call to Aegina, two nights Hydra Mandraki with the inner-harbour shore brief and the Bisti southern-bay daylight, one night Spetses Dapia with the Poseidonion dinner, return Flisvos via the Methana day-call. Four to five nights. The Saronic shape suits the May to early June or the late September shoulder-week and the structural shoulder-week trip rhythm.
For the 7-night Saronic-and-Cycladic charter the bracket runs the supplementary eastern crossing to Kea (one night) and Kythnos (one night) on the western Cyclades route plus the return Athens. For the 7-night Saronic-and-Peloponnese charter the bracket runs the supplementary western Methana hot-spring overnight, the Epidaurus daytime archaeological tour, and the Nafplio shoulder-week three-night base. For destination context see Charter Greece, Charter Cyclades, and the Mediterranean charter weekly rates report.
What the bracket does not do well in the Saronic Gulf
The Hydra inner Mandraki harbour stern-to at the bracket. The Hydra inner-harbour Mandraki runs structurally narrow on the inner quay and the bracket's 50m-and-up stern-to is structurally not the slot; the inner-bay southern anchor on the leeward face is the structural overnight. We would pass on Hydra inner-harbour stern-to representations at the bracket and hold the inner-bay anchor instead.
The Spetses Old Harbour stern-to in the August ferry density. The Spetses Old Harbour at the eastern face runs structurally tight in the August ferry traffic and the bracket-fit overnight reads through the Dapia main-quay stern-to on prior arrangement or the supplementary western Zogeria anchor instead. Confirm the captain's prior Old Harbour tenure at inquiry, or hold the Dapia or Zogeria overnight.
The single-week Saronic-only charter at the peak window. The Saronic at the August 5 to 18 peak runs structurally dense on the Hydra and Spetses ferry density and the bracket-fit week reads through the shoulder-week (May, late September, early October) instead. We would pass on broker representations of a peak-week Saronic-only week at the bracket and suggest the Saronic-and-Cycladic 7-night embarkation shape.
