A 50 to 60m motor yacht Puglia in the 2026 peak window (mid-July through mid-August) sits on a weekly rate of $375,000 to $590,000 plus 27 to 29 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests on the 6-cabin standard, and runs 14 to 17 crew. Puglia is the southeastern Italian heel running from the Gargano promontory on the north Adriatic face down through Bari, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Brindisi, the Salento Otranto peninsula, the Santa Maria di Leuca cape, and up the western Ionian face to Gallipoli and Taranto. The structural embarkation runs through Brindisi airport (BDS) at 5 kilometres from the Brindisi marina, or through Bari Karol Wojtyla (BRI) at 50 kilometres northwest, with the supplementary helicopter transit landing at Lecce or Brindisi. The bracket runs Puglia as the southern Italian Adriatic-Ionian shoulder destination and the structural Adriatic crossing leg to Croatia or Montenegro. Roughly 4 to 8 yachts in this LOA work the Puglian coast through a typical August week, with the structural fleet rotating in and out on Adriatic crossing programmes.
Why the bracket works Puglia
Brindisi. The Brindisi inner harbour holds the 60m-line on the eastern Costa Morena quay on prior arrangement at the harbour master, with the supplementary Marina di Brindisi outer berths on the western face for the 55m line. The Brindisi shore programme runs the old-town brief (the Roman columns, the Lungomare Regina Margherita), the structural airport-to-yacht transit (5 kilometres), and the chief stew's prior bench at the Trattoria Pantagruele or the Pescheria Pescheriola for the daytime local-fish service is the structural broker-side question at inquiry.
Otranto and the Santa Maria di Leuca cape. Otranto on the Adriatic southeastern face runs the supplementary anchor on the Baia dei Turchi northern bay or the Porto Badisco southern cove, with the inner-harbour stern-to at the bracket on the supplementary Marina di Otranto on prior arrangement (the 55m line is structurally tight in the August window). The Santa Maria di Leuca cape at 50 nautical miles south of Otranto runs the structural Adriatic-to-Ionian rounding leg on the Punta Meliso anchor with the day-call shore brief, and the wider Marina di Leuca outer berths hold the 55m line on prior arrangement.
The Polignano a Mare and Monopoli day-calls. Polignano a Mare on the central Adriatic face at 40 nautical miles north of Brindisi runs the structural day-call on the offshore anchor at the Lama Monachile cliff-cove daytime swim brief (the inner cliff cove is structurally not the tender shore approach and the bracket holds the offshore anchor with the chase boat shore brief). Monopoli at 5 nautical miles south of Polignano runs the supplementary day-call on the inner port stern-to (the 55m line is structurally tight) or the offshore anchor with the old-town tender shuttle.
The Gallipoli and western Ionian face. Gallipoli on the western Ionian face at 60 nautical miles southwest of Brindisi runs the structural Ionian-leg overnight on the Marina di Gallipoli outer berths or the southern Punta della Suina anchor, with the old-town shore programme on the Greek-island-style fortified centre. The wider Ionian face down through the Porto Cesareo and the Torre Lapillo anchors runs the supplementary daytime swim brief on the calm-water August window.
What the bracket buys you in this bracket in Puglia
Cabins. Six standard. The 6-cabin August week reads through Puglia as a three to five-night southern Italian shoulder leg or the structural Adriatic crossing embarkation.
Crew. Fourteen to seventeen. Italian or Maltese-flag charter list dominates the Puglian fleet and the captain plus chief stew hold the Italian-language operational fluency on the Brindisi Costa Morena harbour master and the Otranto, Leuca, and Gallipoli marina offices. The chief stew's prior bench on the Trattoria Pantagruele Brindisi, the Grotta Palazzese Polignano cliff restaurant (the on-the-rock private booking is structurally the highlight at the bracket), the Bagno Marino Archi Santa Cesarea Terme cliff terrace, and the Otranto and Gallipoli old-town reservations is the structural broker-side question at inquiry.
Tenders. Primary 10 to 12m for the Brindisi and Otranto shore transfer plus the Polignano cliff-cove shore brief, secondary 7 to 8m for the at-anchor lunch programme at the Baia dei Turchi and Punta della Suina, plus a chase boat for the daytime water-sports brief. The Puglian tender programme runs through the August window on the structural anchor-based daylight rhythm.
At-anchor stabilizers. Required. The Baia dei Turchi Otranto, the Lama Monachile Polignano offshore, the Punta Meliso Leuca, and the Punta della Suina Gallipoli anchors run the at-anchor stabilizers through the August calm window, and the supplementary Tremiti Islands northern crossing overnight runs the at-anchor load. The 2018-and-newer hulls run the structural zero-speed product.
Beach club. Required. The Baia dei Turchi, the Porto Badisco, and the Punta della Suina western-Ionian anchors run the beach club open through the swim brief and the bracket runs the fold-out terraces hard through the August daylight window. The Puglian August daytime water band runs 25 to 27 degrees on the Adriatic southeastern face and 26 to 28 degrees on the western Ionian face.
Helipad. Cat A useful. The Brindisi and Bari fixed-wing transit runs the 15 to 30-minute helicopter leg to the Puglian foreshore, and the supplementary Adriatic crossing rotation runs the 45-minute helicopter window to the Dubrovnik or Kotor side. The captain's prior helipad protocol holds the bracket-fit operation.
Trip shape that fits the bracket
Puglia runs the structural southern Italian shoulder-week or Adriatic crossing leg. The 5 to 7-night Puglian shoulder shape runs Brindisi Costa Morena embarkation, two nights anchor rotation on Otranto Baia dei Turchi and Porto Badisco southern cove, one night Leuca Punta Meliso with the cape-rounding brief, two nights western Ionian at Gallipoli Punta della Suina anchor with the old-town overnight, one night Polignano Lama Monachile offshore anchor with the Grotta Palazzese cliff dinner, return Brindisi. Five to seven nights. The Puglian shape suits the late May to mid-July and the early September to mid-October window.
For the 10-day Brindisi-to-Croatia crossing the bracket runs Puglia (three nights) plus the Adriatic transit to Dubrovnik or Hvar (one night) plus the southern Dalmatian rotation (six nights). For the 7-night Puglia-and-Montenegro charter the bracket runs Brindisi (one night) plus the Otranto-to-Kotor southeastern crossing (one night transit) plus Montenegro Bay of Kotor (five nights). For destination context see Charter Croatia, Charter Montenegro, and the Mediterranean charter weekly rates report.
What the bracket does not do well in Puglia
The Polignano a Mare inner cliff-cove tender approach. The Polignano Lama Monachile inner cliff cove runs structurally narrow on the tender shore approach and the bracket-fit shore brief reads through the offshore anchor with the chase boat seaward-approach window. We would pass on broker representations of a Polignano inner-cove tender shore and hold the offshore anchor with the chase-boat brief instead.
The Otranto Marina inner stern-to at the 55m-and-up line. The Otranto inner-marina basin runs structurally narrow for the bracket and the bracket-fit overnight reads through the Baia dei Turchi northern anchor or the supplementary Leuca outer-marina berth. We would pass on Otranto Marina inner-harbour stern-to representations at the 55m-and-up bracket and hold the anchor instead.
The single-week Puglia-only charter at the August ferragosto peak. The Puglian Adriatic and Ionian face at the August 5 to 18 ferragosto peak runs structurally dense on the Italian holiday traffic and the bracket-fit week reads through the late May to mid-July shoulder or the early September window instead. We would pass on broker representations of a ferragosto-week Puglia-only week at the bracket and suggest the wider Adriatic crossing or the Croatian-led rotation.
