A 50 to 60m motor yacht the Ionian Greek cluster in the 2026 high-season window (mid-June to early September) runs $345,000 to $585,000 per week plus 27 to 30 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests on the 6-cabin standard, and carries 13 to 17 crew. The Ionian charter ground runs the structural 220 nautical mile north-to-south arc from Corfu at the Albanian border to Zakynthos at the southern Peloponnese approach, with Paxos and Antipaxos, Lefkas and Meganisi, Ithaca, and Kefalonia as the four clusters between. The bracket bases out of the Corfu Gouvia Marina or the Lefkas Marina and the structural week runs the family-led product without the meltemi pressure that the bracket carries on the Aegean. Roughly 14 to 20 yachts in this bracket work the Ionian through a typical peak summer, the third-largest 50-60m Greek pool after the Cyclades and the Saronic. Rates run 6 to 10 percent below the Cyclades at the same LOA.
Why the bracket runs the Ionian
The weather window is the structural advantage. The Ionian runs the structural light westerly through the summer (15 to 22 knots on the typical July and August afternoon) without the meltemi 35-knot pressure that the Aegean carries through the same window. The bracket runs the Ionian as the family-led week with the structural at-anchor product through the leeward eastern face of every island. The afternoon thermal wind windows are predictable and the captain's prior Ionian tenure is the structural variable on the open-Ionian passages (the Lefkas-to-Zakynthos and the Kefalonia-to-Zakynthos rounds), not on the cluster-internal product.
The cluster grammar. The Ionian runs as a single-cluster week (Lefkas-Meganisi-Ithaca-Kefalonia) or a two-cluster 10-night charter (north Ionian Corfu-Paxos with south Ionian Lefkas-Kefalonia). The 7-night charter runs the single cluster cleanly. The 10 to 14-night charter runs the full north-to-south arc with the Zakynthos Navagio shipwreck anchor at the marquee at-anchor lunch position.
The shore programme is family-led, not dressed. The Ionian shore programme runs structurally the harbour-side taverna and the family-restaurant brief through Corfu (the Old Fortress and the Mouse Island shore-trip, the chain of Corfu town tavernas, the Kassiopi northern shore brief), Paxos (Loggos, Lakka, and Gaios harbour tavernas), Lefkas (Nydri and Vasiliki shore brief), Ithaca (Vathi and Frikes shore brief), Kefalonia (Fiskardo and Argostoli shore brief), and Zakynthos (Zakynthos town and the Vasilikos peninsula). The chief stew's Ionian shore-restaurant bench is lighter weight than the Cyclades bench but the chef matters more on the at-anchor evenings.
What the cruising area gives the bracket
Corfu and the northern Ionian. The Corfu Gouvia Marina holds the 55m line on the eastern wall on prior arrangement and the Corfu airport (CFU) at 8 kilometres runs the inbound and outbound guest logistics within 25 minutes. The Mandraki harbour at the Old Fortress runs the supplementary daytime call and the Kassiopi northern anchor, the Kalami western-coast anchor (the Durrells beach), and the Albanian coast outside the Corfu strait carry the anchorages. Corfu runs a one to two-night structural leg with the supplementary supplementary northern coast brief.
Paxos and Antipaxos. The Lakka northern anchor, the Loggos eastern anchor, the Gaios inner-channel anchor, and the Antipaxos Voutoumi and Vrika beach anchors carry the Paxos programme. The bracket holds the Lakka and Loggos overnight in 15 to 22 metres on sand bottom and the Voutoumi at-anchor lunch position is the marquee Ionian lunch brief. Paxos runs a one to two-night structural leg.
Lefkas and Meganisi. The Lefkas Marina holds the 55m line on the southern pontoon on prior arrangement and the Lefkas canal at the northern entrance runs the structural transit south. The Meganisi-Skorpios-Madouri archipelago at the southwestern tip carries the marquee Ionian at-anchor cluster with the Skorpios anchor (the former Onassis-island lee), the Madouri lunch anchor, the Spartahori inner-bay anchor, and the Vathy harbour shore brief. Lefkas and Meganisi run a two to three-night structural leg.
Ithaca and Kefalonia. The Vathi inner harbour at Ithaca, the Frikes northern anchor, the Polis Bay western anchor, the Fiskardo harbour at northern Kefalonia, the Assos bay at the western face, and the Argostoli inner harbour at the southern face carry the Ithaca-Kefalonia programme. The bracket holds the Fiskardo harbour stern-to on prior arrangement and the Vathi Ithaca inner harbour on the supplementary captain's arrangement. The Assos bay is the marquee western Kefalonia at-anchor position. Ithaca and Kefalonia run a two to three-night structural leg.
Zakynthos. The Navagio shipwreck bay anchor on the northwestern coast carries the marquee Ionian at-anchor lunch position with the supplementary cliff-shore tender brief, the Blue Caves at the northern tip carry the supplementary lunch programme, and the Vasilikos peninsula at the southern face carries the overnight position. The bracket holds the Navagio anchor in 25 to 40 metres on sand bottom with the structural tender shore-shuttle to the beach. Zakynthos runs a one to two-night leg.
The supplementary southern run. The Pylos and Methoni bays at the southwestern Peloponnese carry the supplementary southern extension at the 10 to 14-night charter and the Cape Maleas rounding to the Saronic extension runs the structural cross-cluster Aegean bridge.

The Ionian runs 6 to 10 percent below the Cyclades at the same LOA on the lower port-fee differential at Corfu Gouvia and Lefkas and the lighter shoulder demand without the Mykonos August premium. For region-by-region rate context see Mediterranean charter weekly rates.
What you actually get in this bracket on the Ionian
Cabins. Six standard, seven optional. The 6-cabin layout runs the structural family week with the convertible twin on the lower deck. The 7-cabin layout at the 57 to 60m upper end runs the multi-family week with the Vasilikos and Fiskardo shore-programme combination.
Crew. Thirteen to seventeen. The chef and the chief stew are the structural hires. The chef matters more on the Ionian week than on the Cyclades week because the onboard programme runs four to five full meals against the two to three onshore evenings. The chief stew's Lefkas, Fiskardo, and Corfu shore-restaurant bench is the structural variable.
Tenders. Primary 9 to 11m tender for the Lefkas canal transit and the Meganisi-Skorpios shore programme, secondary 7m tender for the Lakka and Loggos shore brief and the Navagio shore-shuttle, chase boat for the water-sports brief. The Ionian charter is structurally a swim and water-toy week and the secondary tender carries the at-anchor lunch and the snorkel programme through every day.
Stabilizers. At-anchor stabilizers are useful but not as load-bearing as on the Aegean. The Ionian summer wind window runs structurally the leeward eastern face of every island and the bracket holds the leeward overnight without the structural at-anchor pressure that the bracket runs at Mykonos and Santorini. The Navagio anchor on the western Zakynthos face runs the supplementary at-anchor swell window and the at-anchor stabilizers earn their keep at the marquee lunch programme.
Beach club. Load-bearing. The Ionian charter is the structural swim week and the beach club runs through every day at the leeward anchor positions.
Helipad. Useful, not structural. The Corfu-to-Zakynthos 50-minute rotation runs the inbound guest logistics on the multi-rotation brief but the bracket runs the week without the helicopter. Cat A helipad opens the Athens-to-Corfu 80-minute repositioning for the cross-Aegean Aegean-to-Ionian guest swap.

What the bracket does not do well in the Ionian
The Corfu Mandraki harbour and the Paxos Gaios inner channel overnight. Both run the at-anchor product with the tender for the bracket. The 30 to 40m bracket fits the Mandraki and the Gaios; the 50 to 60m bracket holds the supplementary outer anchor and tenders the inner shore programme.
The Ithaca Vathi inner harbour at the August peak above 55m. The harbour holds the bracket on prior captain's arrangement but the slot count compresses through the peak. Hold the Vathi day-position and the Polis Bay or Frikes overnight if the captain's prior arrangement is not held.
The Zakynthos Navagio overnight. The Navagio anchor runs the structural lunch position only; the overnight runs the supplementary western swell window and the captain holds the Vasilikos peninsula or the Keri leeward anchor for the overnight. Build the Navagio into the lunch programme and reposition for the night.
The Ionian-to-Cyclades 7-night charter. The Cape Maleas rounding runs structurally a 14 to 18-hour passage and the Corinth Canal transit runs the supplementary structural option for the LOA fit. The 7-night charter runs the Ionian or the Cyclades, not both. The 14-night charter holds the cross-Aegean bridge.
