A 50 to 60m motor yacht the Costa Brava in the 2026 peak window (mid-July through mid-August) sits on a weekly rate of $370,000 to $585,000 plus 27 to 29 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests on the 6-cabin standard, and runs 14 to 17 crew. The Costa Brava is the Catalan northeastern coast running 200 kilometres from Blanes north to the French border at Portbou, with the harbours of Palamos on the central coast, the Empuriabrava marina on the northern Gulf of Roses, and the structural berthing fallback at Port de Roses. The structural arrival runs through Barcelona El Prat (BCN) at 120 kilometres south or Girona (GRO) at 30 to 60 kilometres inland, with the helicopter transit landing at the Palamos or Empuriabrava heliports. What the bracket does not do well on the Costa Brava

The Cadaques inner harbour stern-to at the bracket. The Cadaques natural harbour holds the structural anchor on the inner-bay floor with the bracket-fit shore tender shuttle, and the inner-quay stern-to slots are structurally non-existent for the 50m-and-up bracket. We would pass on broker representations of a Cadaques inner-quay stern-to and hold the Cala Sa Conca eastern anchor on the leeward face instead.

The Empuriabrava inner-marina channel for the 55m-and-up line. The Empuriabrava inner-marina canal system runs structurally narrow for the bracket and the bracket-fit overnight reads through the outer Avant-port berths on prior arrangement or the supplementary Port de Roses commercial mole. We would pass on Empuriabrava inner-marina representations at the 55m-and-up bracket and hold the Avant-port or the Roses commercial mole instead.

The single-week Costa Brava-only charter at the August tramontana window. The Cap de Creus and northern Costa Brava at the August tramontana wind window (the structural three to five-day northwesterly gale event) runs structurally exposed on the cape rounding and the bracket-fit week reads through the southern Palamos-and-central shoulder window or the structural Saint-Tropez repositioning leg instead. We would pass on broker representations of a peak-week Cadaques-only charter at the bracket on the tramontana exposure and suggest the wider repositioning shape or the southern shelter rotation.
