A 50 to 60m yacht Aruba through the 2026 to 2027 winter (mid-December to mid-April) runs $265,000 to $395,000 per week plus 28 to 30 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests across 6 cabins, and carries 14 to 17 crew. Aruba at this LOA reads as the western anchor of the southern Caribbean ABC arc with Curacao and Bonaire to the east, with the bracket calling primarily inside a 10 to 14 night ABC rotation rather than a standalone destination week. The active 50 to 60m fleet at any winter date sits at 1 to 3 hulls calling in transit, with the structural advantage that Aruba sits south of 13 degrees north latitude and outside the active Atlantic hurricane track on the structural shoulder weeks. The bracket holds the Renaissance Marina outer-T at the central Oranjestad waterfront on prior marina-office allocation, the Eagle Beach and Palm Beach western-leeward anchorages on a sand-bottom 6 to 12 metre hold, and the Boca Grandi daylight hook on the southeastern face. Embarkation runs through Queen Beatrix International (AUA) at the central south coast on direct fixed-wing from Miami (MIA), Amsterdam (AMS), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), and the wider Caribbean network, with the bracket-fit guest transfer running 12 minutes from AUA to the Renaissance Marina tender pickup or to the Oranjestad commercial quay direct.
Why the bracket calls at Aruba specifically
The southern Caribbean ABC arc is the bracket's structural reason to call. Aruba sits 42 nautical miles west of Curacao and 75 nautical miles west of Bonaire, all three islands south of 13 degrees north latitude and outside the active Atlantic hurricane track for the structural winter calendar. The wider ABC rotation runs the 10 to 14 night transit programme with the inter-island sails on prevailing easterly trades, and Aruba holds the western anchor of the arc and the strongest US guest-logistics infrastructure of the three through the AUA direct fixed-wing network.
The Renaissance Marina outer-T at the central Oranjestad waterfront is the only ABC marina that holds the bracket alongside. The outer-T runs the bracket on the 5.5 to 6.5 metre operating depth on a 70 to 75 metre quay length on prior marina-office allocation, and the inner basin runs on tighter swing and depth that closes at the bracket. The marina sits inside the Renaissance Aruba Resort complex with the resort-side concierge programme and the captain-side handoff to the marina office for the SVCM customs clearance on the Oranjestad commercial-port arrangement. The marina holds the bracket overnight on a quieter overnight than the Sint Anna Bay Otrobanda commercial-quay arrangement at Curacao.
The Eagle Beach and Palm Beach western-leeward anchorages on the central west coast hold the bracket at anchor on the daylight calls, with Eagle Beach on the southern leeward face running the 6 to 10 metre sand bottom and the central low-rise resort programme, and Palm Beach on the northern leeward face running the 8 to 12 metre hold and the high-rise resort programme (Hyatt Regency, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton). Both run daylight only against the prevailing easterly trade-wind chop, and the bracket returns to the Renaissance Marina or to the Boca Grandi southeastern hook for the overnight.
The Boca Grandi daylight hook on the southeastern face holds the kite-surf and wind-water programme at the destination's prevailing 15 to 25 knot easterly. The bay sits inside the Aruba Marine Park southeastern boundary, with the anchor on the southwestern lee of the hook at 6 to 10 metres and the daylight call running the chase boat to the inner reef break.
The Queen Beatrix International airport (AUA) takes direct daily fixed-wing from MIA, AMS, JFK, EWR, IAH, ATL, BOS, and the wider Caribbean network including the US preclearance facility for the US guest-logistics on the return leg. The bracket-fit guest transfer runs 12 minutes from AUA to the Renaissance Marina or to the Oranjestad commercial quay.
Weekly rate map for winter 2026 to 2027
Rates below are peak season (mid-December 2026 to mid-April 2027), before APA at 26 to 30 percent and gratuity at 12 to 15 percent. The Renaissance Marina outer-T fee, the Eagle Beach and Palm Beach anchorage fees, and the Boca Grandi marine-park entry run through the APA on the daily basis. The ABC arc inter-island clearance through Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao customs runs through the captain's prior agent on the inter-island leg.
| LOA bracket | Motor yacht (low to high) | Sailing yacht and motor-sailor (low to high) |
|---|---|---|
| 50 to 53m | $265K to $305K per week | $220K to $260K per week |
| 53 to 57m | $305K to $350K per week | $255K to $305K per week |
| 57 to 60m | $340K to $395K per week | $290K to $350K per week |
The NYE window at the ABC arc runs a 30 to 50 percent premium against the central January figure, with Aruba running the structural western anchor of the arc and pulling a slightly stronger NYE allocation against Curacao because of the US guest-logistics through AUA. The shoulder weeks in early December and the second half of April drop the figure 18 to 25 percent across the wider rotation. The Aruba all-in week at peak runs roughly 2 to 4 percent above the equivalent Curacao week at the same LOA on the Renaissance Marina alongside premium, and roughly 12 to 18 percent below the equivalent St Barths week because the eastern Caribbean NYE programme structurally pulls demand at the same calendar. For broader context see Caribbean charter weekly rates and the 40-50m Aruba bracket.
What the bracket buys you in this bracket
Cabins. Six standard. The Aruba winter pool at the bracket runs the on-deck master plus VIP plus four guest doubles as the layout, with the seven-cabin layout at the 57m-plus upper end for the multi-couple US winter pattern tied to the AUA direct guest-logistics.
Crew. Fourteen to seventeen. The Aruba call rewards a captain bench with prior Renaissance Marina outer-T berth tenure (the marina entrance has a tight pilotage window on the Oranjestad commercial-port pilotage at the bracket), the Eagle Beach and Palm Beach daylight anchor positioning, and the SVCM customs clearance routine through the marina office. The chef bench is calibrated to the British and South African southern-Caribbean pool with the Dutch and US provisioning route through AUA. The chief stew's prior reservation bench at the Oranjestad waterfront (the Yemanja on the Wilhelmina Park face, the Driftwood at the Palm Beach corner, and the White Modern Cuisine at the Aruba Marriott) is the structural shore-side question.
Tenders. Primary 11 to 12m fast tender plus a 7 to 8m beach tender plus a chase boat. The Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, and Boca Grandi daylight anchorages run tender-heavy and take the secondary plus the chase. The Renaissance Marina alongside reduces the tender share on the embarkation week. The Baby Beach and Mangel Halto daylight anchorages on the southern face run the secondary on the shore landings.
At-anchor stabilizers. Required. The Eagle Beach and Palm Beach western-leeward anchorages hold the protected position on prevailing easterly trades but take the occasional northwesterly winter swell that builds through the daylight programme. The 2018-and-newer hulls running the zero-speed product hold the bracket fit on the daylight programme.
Beach club. Required. The Eagle Beach and Palm Beach daylight anchorages run the beach club open hard through the 27 to 28 degree water band, and the Baby Beach daylight on the southern face runs the beach club open hard on the protected lagoon water with the swim-platform programme open through the daylight window.
Helipad. Cat A useful at the upper end. The AUA airport 4 to 6 minute helicopter leg holds the cross-island shuttle to Curacao (CUR) or Bonaire (BON) for the upper-end ABC arc shore programme, on prior Aruba Civil Aviation Authority confirmation.
Trip shape that fits the bracket
The bracket's Aruba call sits inside a 10 to 14 night southern Caribbean ABC rotation. The 10-night ABC round trip runs AUA embarkation, three nights at Aruba split between the Renaissance Marina and the Eagle Beach plus Palm Beach daylight programme with the Boca Grandi daylight hook, three nights at Bonaire on the Marine Park mooring system with the Klein Bonaire daylight, three nights at Curacao split between the Spanish Water mooring and the Westpunt anchored daylight, return AUA for the disembark. The 10-night routing is the bracket's pattern for the ABC arc with the AUA-direct guest-logistics on the embarkation and disembark.
The 14-night ABC full rotation runs AUA embarkation, four nights at Aruba split between the Renaissance Marina alongside and the Eagle Beach plus Palm Beach plus Boca Grandi daylight programme, five nights at Bonaire on the Marine Park mooring system with the Klein Bonaire daylight and the dive programme on the marine park structure, four nights at Curacao split between the Spanish Water mooring and the Westpunt anchored daylight, one night at Aruba for the disembark. The 14-night routing is the bracket's strongest shape for the ABC arc and the structural advantage that the three islands sit inside a 90 nautical mile triangle.
The 7-night Aruba plus Curacao short rotation runs AUA embarkation, three nights at Aruba split between the Renaissance Marina and the Eagle Beach daylight, four nights at Curacao split between the Spanish Water mooring and the Klein Curacao daylight. Seven nights. Suits a focused western ABC product where the cruising area compresses against Bonaire's eastern reach.
What the bracket does not do well at Aruba
The Renaissance Marina inner-basin alongside at the upper end. The inner basin runs on 4 to 4.5 metres of depth and a tighter swing window that closes at the bracket. We would pass on any 53m-plus contract that does not carry the outer-T berth assignment in writing at contract, and we would push back on a captain's plan to take the inner basin at the bracket on a tide-window try.
The Eagle Beach or Palm Beach overnight. The western-leeward anchorages hold the daylight programme on the protected easterly trade-wind side but take the occasional northwesterly winter swell that builds through the afternoon and runs the bracket on a rolly overnight. We would pass on the Eagle or Palm overnight and route the bracket back to the Renaissance Marina or to the Boca Grandi southeastern hook for the overnight.
The standalone Aruba 7-night charter without the ABC arc. The destination's cruising programme inside the western leeward shelf and the daylight call to Boca Grandi and Baby Beach compresses inside 3 to 4 days, and the standalone Aruba week reads thin against the wider ABC arc. We would pass on an Aruba-only week at the bracket and position the trip inside the 10 to 14 night ABC programme.
The Antilla wreck snorkel as a primary day-stop programme. The 120-metre WWII wreck on the northwestern leeward face holds the destination's marquee dive call but the snorkel programme over the wreck reads thin at the bracket against the Bonaire Marine Park dive programme inside the wider ABC rotation. We would position the dive and snorkel allocation on the Bonaire leg and route the Aruba programme on the Renaissance Marina and the southern Boca Grandi plus Baby Beach daylight calls.
