A 50 to 60m motor yacht the Amalfi Coast in the 2026 high-season window (mid-June to mid-September) runs $425,000 to $725,000 per week plus 28 to 30 percent APA, takes 10 to 12 guests on the 6-cabin standard, and carries 14 to 18 crew. The Amalfi charter ground runs the 35 nautical mile coast between Punta Campanella at the western tip of the Sorrento peninsula and Punta Licosa at the southern end of the Cilento, with Capri at 4 nautical miles offshore as the structural offshore anchor and Procida and Ischia at 18 to 25 nautical miles northwest as the supplementary Phlegraean run. The bracket bases out of Naples (Mergellina, Molo Beverello) and the Capri Marina Grande, and the Aeolian Islands extension at 80 to 130 nautical miles south runs the structural 10 to 14-night charter at the bracket. The Ferragosto peak (August 10 to 22) and the Capri yacht-show calendar shape the bracket inventory pool.

Why the bracket runs the Amalfi Coast at all

The structural at-anchor product. The Amalfi Coast carries no stern-to marina for the bracket past the Capri Marina Grande inner-harbour grid. The Positano roadstead, the Praiano anchor, the Amalfi town anchor off the Saracen-tower beach, and the Conca dei Marini run the structural at-anchor product through the season. The bracket runs the at-anchor week with the at-anchor stabilizers earning their keep and the tender programme running the shore product. The Amalfi charter is the structural at-anchor Mediterranean week at the bracket.

The shore programme. The Amalfi Coast shore programme runs structurally every day of the charter through Don Alfonso 1890 at Sant'Agata, Quattro Passi at Marina del Cantone, Lo Scoglio at Nerano, La Conca del Sogno at Recommone, Da Adolfo at Laurito, Da Gemma at Amalfi, and the Capri chain of Aurora, Da Paolino, La Fontelina, and Il Riccio. The structural Tyrrhenian dressed-evening programme is the Amalfi charter brief and the chief stew's shore-restaurant booking bench is the structural variable.

The Capri anchor positions. Capri carries three structural at-anchor positions for the bracket: the Faraglioni at the southeastern tip (the marquee at-anchor position with the structural lunch programme and the Da Luigi ai Faraglioni shore brief), the Marina Piccola anchor on the southern coast, and the Marina Grande inner harbour with the bracket-line berth at the eastern breakwater. The bracket runs the Capri week through the three positions and the captain prior tenure on the Capri inner-harbour wind-shift judgment is structural.

The Aeolian extension. The 80 to 130 nautical mile southerly transit from Capri to Stromboli runs the structural overnight passage and the Aeolian Islands (Stromboli, Panarea, Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Filicudi, Alicudi) carry the supplementary extension at the bracket. The 10 to 14-night Amalfi and Aeolian charter is the structural product at the bracket and the August peak runs the Aeolian leg as the structural shoulder out of the Tyrrhenian peak.

What the cruising area gives the bracket

Naples and the embarkation. Naples Mergellina and the Molo Beverello run the structural embarkation port at the bracket with the 50 to 60m berths on prior arrangement at Mergellina. The Naples airport (NAP) at 12 kilometres from Mergellina runs the inbound and outbound guest logistics within 25 minutes. The Naples-to-Capri transit runs 1.5 hours at 12 knots and the Naples-to-Positano transit runs 2.5 hours.

Capri. The Capri Marina Grande inner harbour holds the bracket on prior captain's arrangement at the eastern breakwater with the 55m line as the structural ceiling. The Faraglioni anchor at the southeastern tip carries the marquee at-anchor lunch position with the Da Luigi shore brief and the Marina Piccola anchor carries the supplementary southern position. The bracket holds at anchor at the Faraglioni in 18 to 28 metres on sand and rock bottom and the captain prior tenure on the Faraglioni anchor judgment (the southwesterly afternoon swell window) is structural. Capri runs a three to four-night structural leg at the bracket.

Positano and Praiano. The Positano roadstead off the Spiaggia Grande carries the at-anchor position with the structural shore programme through Le Sirenuse, Il San Pietro, Donna Rosa, and the chain of Positano dressed-evening venues. The Praiano anchor between Positano and Amalfi carries the supplementary at-anchor position with the Africana Famous Club shore brief. The bracket holds at anchor in 22 to 30 metres on sand bottom on the leeward lee. Positano runs a two to three-night structural leg at the bracket.

Amalfi and Conca dei Marini. The Amalfi town anchor off the Saracen tower carries the supplementary at-anchor position with the Da Gemma and the Eolo shore brief. The Conca dei Marini at the western Furore fjord carries the marquee inland shore-trip position with the Costa Diva and the Tasca di San Lazzaro brief. The bracket holds at anchor in 18 to 28 metres on sand bottom and the inner Furore fjord runs the at-anchor lunch position. Amalfi runs a one to two-night structural leg at the bracket.

The Phlegraean run. Procida (the Marina di Corricella anchor) and Ischia (the Lacco Ameno and Sant'Angelo anchors) carry the supplementary Phlegraean week at 18 to 25 nautical miles northwest of Capri. The bracket runs the Phlegraean as a one to two-night structural addition on the longer charter with the Procida shore programme (the lemon-tree and Lo Scarrupo brief) and the Ischia thermal-spa shore product (the Negombo and the Castello Aragonese tour).

Weekly rate map for 2026 high season

Rates below are firm high-season pricing for mid-June through mid-September 2026, before APA at 28 to 30 percent and gratuity at 12 to 15 percent. The Ferragosto peak (August 10 to 22) runs 1.20 to 1.30 times the published rate.

LOA bracket Motor yacht (low to high) Sailing yacht (low to high)
50 to 53m $425K to $522K per week $355K to $432K per week
53 to 57m $498K to $620K per week $415K to $505K per week
57 to 60m $568K to $725K per week $475K to $605K per week

The Capri yacht-show calendar (typically late September) compresses the late-season inventory pool. The Aeolian extension runs the published Amalfi rate or 5 to 8 percent below on the lower port-fee differential at Stromboli and Panarea. For region-by-region rate context see Mediterranean charter weekly rates.

What you actually get in this bracket on the Amalfi Coast

Cabins. Six standard, seven optional. The 6-cabin layout runs the structural 12-guest week at the bracket. The 7-cabin layout at the 57 to 60m upper end runs the multi-family week tied to the Capri and Positano shore programme combination.

Crew. Fourteen to eighteen. The Amalfi chief stew and the chef are the structural hire on the dressed-evening shore programme. The chief stew's Amalfi and Capri shore-restaurant booking bench (Da Luigi, Aurora, Da Paolino, Le Sirenuse, Il San Pietro, Don Alfonso, Quattro Passi) is the structural product. Confirm the chief stew's shore-restaurant bench at inquiry, not just the credentials.

Tenders. Primary 9 to 11m fast tender for the inter-port repositioning and the Capri shore programme, secondary 7m tender for the Positano and Amalfi at-anchor tender programme, chase boat for the water-sports brief. The Amalfi tender programme runs the structural shore product and the secondary tender carries the Positano-to-Praiano and the Conca dei Marini shore rotation. The primary tender carries the Capri Marina Grande inner-harbour run from the at-anchor positions.

Stabilizers. At-anchor stabilizers are load-bearing. The Capri Faraglioni anchor through the August southwesterly afternoon shift, the Positano roadstead through the southwesterly swell window, and the Amalfi town anchor through the same window run the at-anchor stabilizers hard. Specify at-anchor stabilizers at inquiry and confirm the Quantum or CMC zero-speed product on the 2018-and-newer hulls.

Beach club. Load-bearing. The Amalfi charter runs the structural at-anchor swim programme through the Capri and the Positano anchor positions and the beach club is structural to the at-anchor week. The Capri Faraglioni lunch programme with the beach club open is the structural at-anchor position on the Amalfi charter.

Helipad. Useful but not load-bearing. The Naples-Capri 18-minute and Naples-Positano 22-minute helicopter rotation runs the inbound and outbound guest logistics on the multi-rotation brief but the structural Amalfi charter runs the at-anchor product and the inter-port repositioning is short enough that the helicopter rotation is supplementary. Useful for the Aeolian extension (Naples-Stromboli 32 minutes against the 5 hour underway).

Trip shapes that fit the bracket

The 7-night Amalfi standard. Embark Naples Mergellina, two nights Capri (Faraglioni anchor, Marina Grande inner-harbour, Marina Piccola anchor rotation), two nights Positano roadstead, one night Praiano or Amalfi, one night Capri return, disembark Naples. The structural Amalfi charter at the bracket. Suits the couples and the dressed-week brief.

The 7-night Capri and Phlegraean alternative. Embark Naples or Capri Marina Grande, three nights Capri, two nights Procida and Ischia, one night Positano, one night return Capri. The Phlegraean-led charter at the bracket. Suits the off-Amalfi-peak shoulder-week brief and the inland-culture shore programme.

The 10-night Amalfi and Aeolian Islands. Embark Naples, two nights Capri, two nights Positano, overnight transit to Stromboli, four nights Aeolian Islands (Stromboli active volcano, Panarea, Lipari, Salina, Vulcano), two nights return Amalfi and Capri. The extended Amalfi charter at the bracket. Suits the family and couples week with the Tyrrhenian active-volcano brief.

The 14-night Amalfi, Aeolian, and Pontine Islands. Embark Naples, two nights Capri, two nights Positano and Amalfi, four nights Aeolian Islands, two nights Ponza and Ventotene (the Pontine Islands, 90 nautical miles north of Capri), two nights Procida and Ischia, two nights return. The marquee Tyrrhenian charter at the bracket. Suits the dedicated couples or multi-family week.

What the bracket does not do well on the Amalfi Coast

The Capri Marina Grande inner-harbour overnight at the Ferragosto week. The inner harbour holds the bracket on prior captain's arrangement but the August 10 to 22 peak compresses the slot count and the bracket runs the at-anchor product at the Faraglioni or the Marina Piccola through the peak. Build the Capri night onto the at-anchor product with the inner-harbour tender for the shore programme.

The Positano roadstead in a southwesterly swell window. The Positano anchor runs structurally compromised in the southwesterly afternoon swell window and the at-anchor stabilizers earn their keep. Captain prior tenure on the Positano anchor-judgment (whether to hold the position or reposition to Praiano or the Conca dei Marini for the overnight) is the structural variable. Confirm at inquiry.

The 7-night charter that tries to include the Aeolian extension. The Capri-to-Stromboli 80 to 130 nautical mile transit runs structurally an overnight passage and the 7-night charter compresses the Aeolian leg to a one-night Stromboli call without the structural Panarea and Lipari shore programme. Build the Aeolian into the 10 to 14-night charter or commit to the Amalfi-only week.

The early-June or late-September shoulder charter without the Capri shore programme. The Capri shore programme (Da Paolino, Aurora, La Fontelina, Il Riccio) runs structurally through the early-June to mid-September window. The pre-June 10 and post-September 25 weeks compress the Capri shore programme to the hotel restaurants and the Le Sirenuse and Il San Pietro Positano programme runs partial. Confirm the shore programme calendar at inquiry on the shoulder-week charter.
